Good fun, and the second Mrs Bear is a delight. Teddy Bear (!) the for some reason irresistible lothario who's vibe is a sassy Wimbledon bitch version of Rick Astley is also a very fun character although the ending felt like suddenly bolting the last two scenes of a serious drama onto the front half of a surprisingly lighthearted comedy about serial wife murder.

Solid turns from Dickie A and others, but very flimsy compared to the book. I demand a remake with Ramon Tikaram as Mr Squales and the full arc of that character.

I forgot this would make me cry. The different time period set pieces in each train carriage are delightful, some really fun costumes and performances, and surprisingly moving imo. The wartime pastiche is incredible, and the Charters and Caldicott cameo is the icing on the Christmas cake for me - or perhaps the sixpence in the Christmas pudding would be more appropriate.
