Gladiator II 2024
The most realistic part of these films are the crowds cheering for the gladiator and not the emperors.
A great cast, Johnny Storm and White Lotus brother don't really make up for the weirdness of Joaquin Phoenix from the first. There's something missing from this movie... it's not bad. It's very similar to Gladiator I, maybe too much?

The only thing I think that stuck with me when I first saw this was the death of his son and wife. Everything else I don't remember at all.
It's not bad. Ridley Scott is a great director. I was waiting, though, for the scene with Britney, Beyoncé, and P!nk but they must have cut it for streaming.
