Unapologetically loving any horror film. 3 stars and up I consider a good movie.

One Missed Call 2 2005
Wow this sequel had no right surpassing the first film for me. It’s everything I wanted from the previous film: more interesting characters, better quality looking ghosts, an engaging story. I especially loved the subplot with the reporter and how it tied in to the main plot.

One Missed Call 2003
A great concept with a somewhat boring execution. The story is engaging, but definitely found myself a little confused. It seemed like the movie skipped over some details (I must have missed how they traced these phone calls to the mom and her two daughters).
There is a lack of ghost scares as well. We get one decent shot of a ghost peaking out of a cabinet that is great! But there aren’t many scares going on aside from loud noises.

Halloween 1978
From my 2024 Halloween watchlist.
The simplest straightforward storyline done so well. It has atmosphere and captures the season so well visually.
It has many layers to it…including ACTUAL characters with personality!!Michael is mysterious and has such a presence on screen.
