  Nowhere as good as the first film, but this is still rock solid stuff — even Bird’s lower effort work still clears the entirety of the MCU slop. The biggest problem for me is the villain, she just isn’t fully formed.

  I consider myself an ethical man, a fair man. If I see effort on display, a performance I admire or like, then I’m going to be a lot more generous to a film than I normally would.
