  A Walk to Remember 2002

  i just watched a video critique of this and so i came to look up what i rated it. here’s some backstory:

  i watched this last year while i was on tour and while i was sick with the strangest, most hallucination-ious fever i’ve ever had.

  now imagine yourself in that position watching this. you’d be a little po’ed too i’m sure.

  Captain America: Brave New World 2025

  adamantium, vibranium, gamma…

  the president is a monster and captain america is a regular guy…

  
  i actually really liked this. it was old school superhero movie in a way. 

  there were a lot of moments where they were trying to convey some deep, powerful, but slightly confusing messages yet the most emotional quote was “aye watch ma suit.” actual tears. 

  my main complaint is how confusing the sound effects were at times. like there was a moment where i thought there was a literal train but it was just a door closing. it was lowkey disorienting.

  it takes one hesitation to bring out the worst of us. we’re all capable of horrible things. no one is exempt. the best of us fail. it takes one second, and now i’ve done the unimaginable.

  all are redeemable. 
  but sometimes consequences are demanding.
