I love Liv Tyler, but you know who I love more? Steven Tyler
An oddly warm watch considering the themes and literal colour grading of the film. Incredible visuals for such a monotone watch and the light work was exactly where they needed to be.
I loved Skarsgard's execution of the accent and we must keep Lily in period pieces! She is so beautiful in them. Incred cast.
The doctor is so right in how we have lost touch to any vein of spirituality.
It was refreshing to see friends in stories; like the Hardings who did not shun or shame but friends that cared, regardless of their belief in a higher power or darker force.
Besides his Elvis cameo, I am sadly unfamiliar with Montgomery's INCREDIBLE work. His duality as well as Kriep's embodiment of who Lis is in this story, was remarkable. The uniqueness in each of their interpretation was stunning to watch. Alongside the haunting scores and insane imagery, Van Grinsven and Anast wrote an extensively beautiful story of what it means to let go and truly lose someone.
This is what Behind Her Eyes wanted to be but fell gravely short off…
