While I don’t love every aspect of this film, it does do a few things really well. Its sets the scene of the brutal environment and desperation. It has great commentary on the evils of corporate America exploiting South American countries. And all of the high tension scenes of them driving are fantastic.

I really found the entire character of Jo to be an annoying prick though, didn’t really enjoy anything about him. Mario and his helpless love interest were not very endearing either

It’s a shame that people feel like “goofy comedies” don’t deserve high ratings. This is one of my favorite comedies of all time so I have to whip out the 5 stars.

It satirizes golf so well, and hockey a little bit too. Shooter McGavin is a great villain and Happy Gilmore is a great underdog hero. Sandler comedies are a huge part of movies in the late 90s and 2000s and this is his best one

Maybe its the claymation, maybes its the british quirks, maybe its the cute dog…. Something about Wallace and Gromit is so wholesome and satisfying

I’m a little surprised this wasn’t better but I never have been a fan of Ashanti and 2005 was a bad time for studios trying out CGI. But even the worst muppet movie is fun.

Kermit was amazing, I can see why he won the oscar
