A pretty good genre film, with a great performance around Hugh Grant who is charming and creepy at the same time. The plot was solid, as the two Mormon girls are just trying to navigate through this very creepy house with a strange old man. I enjoyed it a lot, but a bit too much exposition in the third act that didn’t necessarily need to close all of the loose ends. 3.5/5 stars.

A very good film, but a pretty tough story. The decision to shot mostly every thing from a first person point of view was perfect for this story. It transports you into the characters’s shoes and it hits way harder emotionally because of that. The story is brutal especially because it is based on a true story. Very sad time in history that is improtant to remember through movies and books like this. 4/5 stars.

Really fun genre movie that made January much better. Very simple plot, with some great bits that had me laughing really hard. Huge shoutout out to the Berniece character that was closer to a terminator than an actual person. I was cry laughing at her Tom Cruisesque running technique. Very fun movie for a date night, definitely worth a watch. Not a movie trying to be anything more than it is. 3/5 stars.
