This is a true masterpiece. The filmmaking to get this to flow as if it’s taken in two shots is incredible. This is a film I have just revisited since I saw it on an IMAX screen, and it still works really well. The score perfectly fits in with the story and helps to amplify some of the truly intense scenes that are provided in this film. Performances from this British cast are fantastic. One of my favorites war films 4.5/5 stars.

Enjoyed this new installment of the Moana franchise, but a huge step back from the original. This pretty clearly stems from the writers strike and Disney trying to find a way to get people into theaters again for their films. The songs did not live up to the original, which was clear every time the score would remind us of what we had before. Story was alright, but really had the same message as the first as well. A movie that is entertaining, but had no reason to be made other than a cash grab. 2.5/5 stars.

A biography film about a well known scientist in WW2 does not sound like the kind of story Christopher Nolan would make an epic movie for. He did just that in what is probably his greatest achievement to this date (beating out even Dunkirk in my book). I’m rating this just a few weeks until the Oscars 2024, and it seems that the 8+ Oscars this film will win speaks for themselves. Visually and audibly, this movie was immaculate. I…

Really fun genre movie that made January much better. Very simple plot, with some great bits that had me laughing really hard. Huge shoutout out to the Berniece character that was closer to a terminator than an actual person. I was cry laughing at her Tom Cruisesque running technique. Very fun movie for a date night, definitely worth a watch. Not a movie trying to be anything more than it is. 3/5 stars.
