Great movie. Iconic and ahead of its time. The cat was probably one of the better performances and every character not named Ripley is an actual moron.
The alien posing at the end too... It was a great actor.
I have no idea what this movie is about other than the general themes of revenge and standing up to authoritarian regimes. The characters are blasé, the script is lame, and the slow-mo is excessive.
Don’t know what I expected from a Snyder movie.
Acting is decent. Book is better because you can read about the internal conflict Snow has throughout the entire story.
Wonderful and engaging movie that accomplishes its viewership goals. It appeals to the audience of children, while subtly inserting enough fun and clean adult humor to engage the older audiences who grew up with the Shrek Cinematic Universe.
Themes:
TLW tackles difficult themes, which is incredible for a kid’s film. Themes such familial belonging, finding a place in the world, and the great equalizer: death. The film communicates these deeper meanings while not losing the messages with out of place jokes…
