The characters do not have to be likable in a movie; yet, their concerns and intentions should pass over to the audience. The main issue with the script is that Thrish and Daniel's actions are not convincing - in a non-sophisticated way: they were morons, but a dramatic-thriller should not make me think that way about the main characters. Otherwise, the atmosphere was built persuasively; the cinematography, music, acting, and colors all of them were on point, but the scenario's lack of plausibility in all the ways possible made the movie experience horrible for me.
