  An insane trip by Masaaki Yuasa as usual. This was really entertaining, the voice acting was excellent, the characters were great, the message of the film was good. I think the first half is almost perfect and the second half drags a bit. As soon as they go into this whale, I think the pacing takes a big hit. While there are some good parts in this whale, it feels like some scenes were padded out for a longer runtime. Still a great film and one that I'll probably watch again.
