Wicked 2024
I really liked this. 2.5 Hours in and I was itching for more. Too bad I'll be itching for about a year as it's only part one. If you've seen the play it ends at the intermission. Makes sense.

Deadpool & Wolverine 2024
A strong four. I cried laughing multiple times. Does require seeing basically every marvel creation (not just mcu) since the dawn of time to understand everything being thrown at you. At least seeing the first few fox xmen and a bit of the loki series would give you a jumping off point. anyway.

The Great Gatsby 2013
I hated this book when I read it in high school for the same reasons I hate this movie and it's predesesor. Aside from the fact that this one birthed an epidemic of naive and cringy "gatsby parties" that infected every fucking weekend of my early college experience, the story in general romanticizes infidelity, obsession, selfishness, and basically every toxic relationship trait you can think of. It's essentially the D.A.R.E. program of being a dramatic, self-pitying asshole.
