I think I just love Bong Joon Ho's style of weird. It feels unique, profound and it makes me laugh.

Arrival 2016
I feel like this is the film where Villanueve found his calling for sci-fi. Arrival was the start of the streak that's now culminating in the brave challenge of tackling Dune for the big screen. I think it goes without saying, I'm psyched out of my mind for Dune.
This is my third or fourth watch of Arrival and it's still just as captivating to see the narrative from start to finish. Beautifully shot and ethereal, this film feels like a dream but real at the same time.
