The Midwich Cuckoos 2022
I’m not usually a sci-fi girlie but I love this series so much and am only making this review so I can remember to rewatch it again and again. It’s dark and disturbing yet intriguing and impactful. It’s a show you will think of often as it leaves a lasting impression.

A Boy Called Christmas 2021
One of the best Christmas movies I’ve seen in a long time. It is charming, beautiful and whimsical. A very special film that I’m definitely adding to my annual Christmas film watching tradition 💛

The Remarkable Life of Ibelin 2024
I’ve never played video or computer games where you can interact with others so this whole concept was new to me. But this documentary was so moving, and unveiled a whole culture of gaming and the real relationships formed through playing these games together. It was such a beautiful story and was very moving. I can’t imagine how amazed Mats’ parents were when they discovered that their son, who they thought was alone, had been a major player in so many people’s lives all over the world. He’d formed such beautiful friendships through a digital world and left a lasting mark on so many people.

The Sound of Music 1965
I don’t care what anyone says, Julie Andrews is a gift and the sound of music is one of the most beautiful and heartwarming (besides the war stuff) films to exist and it made me want 7 children so I can make them sing the cuckoo song (unlikely to happen but a girl can dream).
