Some respect and definitely a star added just for the quotes and memes from this film. Arnie is the king of one-liner 80s muscle action, so there are props for that too, otherwise a very dull, jungle shoot-em-up.
Very vague and low-drama around the political and emotional stakes of the characters, which are basically cartoonishly 2D (probably more enjoyable if I was a young boy that liked to play soldier stereotypes).

A bit like if Bram Stoker's "Dracula" was done by Wes Anderson. Ultimately Yorgos Lanthimos's version of Frankenstein is a stunning, memorable hit, my favourite of his films so far.

This movie was pretty good, the production design in the sets, sfx, costume etc. were all very intentional, stylish and well done... I want to steal and wear many of the outfits.
I'm not usually a fan of musicals, but this had some decent songs in it that will be caught in my head for a bit. Disappointing that this is pt.1 and I know this is being stretched to twice the length of the original musical. The cast are…
