as someone who's never watched an entire episode of SNL, I probably had to right to watch this but I had a good time anyways. Read a lot a wikipedia pages to catch up on at least some of the lore.

Anora 2024
I'm feeling very conflicted. I somewhat agree with the comments that Anora's character and her motives in particular were underdeveloped, but I think it comes from a place of the viewer's empathy. It's obvious to us that the relationship will combust. We are rooting for Ani and screaming "girl why are you doing this??". I think it's purposeful and the fact that she's naive is part of what makes her character interesting.
Anyways, Mikey Madison was phenomenal.
