  Starts getting interesting around an hour and 40 minutes in lol

  This movie could have been so much cooler, but man, Ridley Scott dropped the ball on this one. Terrible editing, weird musical choices on and off, scenes that fell flat and didn’t fit. I don’t even care about the historical inaccuracies. I expected an awesome Roman epic and got a very long, lackluster action movie instead. The first colosseum battle was great, but nothing else lived up to that. …

  If I had a sensitive Montana cowboy learn to cook for me as a gesture of affection, it’d be head over boots for me too, whoo doggy. 

  
  This is what gay cinema should be!! Character development! Intense pining! A coming out scene that’s meaningful! 

  (Also I would die for Pike, holy shit. Top tier man.)
