  Extraordinary film! The critique of our former political regime is so well done and made communism look so silly that I understand why they banned this film for almost 20 years. Another thing that surprised me was how seamlessly they blended those two storylines from the book.   Few plot holes here and there, and I also feel like with a concept like this, they could've created much more thrilling and thought-provoking story. But besides that I really enjoyed this. I love how european sci-fi debut with a budget of $2 million can look hundred times better than the biggest Hollywood productions, just by using its budget thoughtfully. Loved the music and the production design, insanely impressive for a debut.
