We Live in Time 2024
what an absolute heart-wrenching raw film. almut having to not only come to terms with the fact that once she passes she won’t be able to raise and watch her daughter grow but it also means leaving the man she loves and the work she loves. life is just going to end and that’s scary when there’s so many things that need you, it’s such a hard thing to grasp as someone who wants children, adores my work with them…

Singin' in the Rain 1952
absolutely incredible musical. as an adhd girlie I find it so hard to pay attention to musicals but I grasped every piece of this one. it was so captivating and I loved seeing debbie reynolds in an older role (and very iconic one at that). this is such a piece of iconic film/musical history and I’m so glad I experienced it. also this was definitely one of the first films using “someone singing behind a curtain to b another person’s…

Lilo & Stitch 2: Stitch Has a Glitch 2005
not as good as the original of course as films so often aren’t but the relationships and personalities and vibe of the film stayed the exact same and that absolutely lovely. and they still kept that message of friendship/family and being an outcast which was perfect.

Time Cut 2024
I don’t care what anyone says. this was IMMACULATE. they wrote and filmed this before totally killer and I wish they had aired it sooner bc its too good to be overshadowed by totally killer. Totally killer was good too but I actually enjoyed the plottwist of who the killer was in this film more and the absolute lore of lucy and summer was entirely more interesting than the mother daughter thing in totally killer. ALSO the gays??? immediate win. I adored this. antonia and madison did such an amazing job portraying their characters’ personalities as well.

Black Swan 2010
I don’t think I’ve ever dubbed a film a “cinematic masterpiece” before but this one was it. from the symbolism between the white swan and black swan and the way it coincided with her relationship at home with her mother and her own self and seeing it drastically change by the end to the camera angles at her last dance which made sure to dramatize the emotions that were radiating through her body and to share those emotions with the…
