I decided yesterday to do a whole film binge of horror's. I'm OBSESSED with true stories, this being one of them based on east drive, the most supposed haunted house in the UK & I wasn't disappointed. It was infuriating, filled with jump scared plot-twists & overall horror I enjoyed!

With this being a horror, one of my favourite genres I wanted to give it a try to see how it played out. If you like your stereotypical horror jump scare then maybe not this, as it deals with heavy grief and loss with little to no jump scares. However I loved following this film & how the daughter and mother had to fully come to terms with the concept of loss and pain. I'd depict it to be more of a thriller but overall I thoroughly enjoyed it!

Okay; I had no idea it was a short-film until I decided to watch and saw the timescale of it. I think it really has potential, I don't think it's as bad as reviews I've seen it make out it being. That being said some of the plot is like.. questionable and as some have said slightly corny? The jump-scares are slightly predictable but the concept of the film itself like I've stated prior really has potential to go far…

Overall, I'd love to call this a cinematic experience. The visuals and the absolute incredible clear amount of effort that into the animals, background scenery etc is outstanding. How Pi feels himself & Richard aren't all that different from growing & having the same 'master,' was extremely intriguing to me via being 'rasied in a Zoo by the same master.' It's a heartwarming, touching & emotional film I'd definitely recommend and rewatch again!
