the way patrick describes love is so beautiful. love that has such a strong, meaningful, deep connection can feel painful in the best way possible.
it’s the fact that patrick couldn’t be anymore without eli, he didn’t want to live. he purposely ended his life so he could be with eli forever.
i think that’s the beautiful thing about robots, being able to be build connections with them to the point where they can feel feelings like that too. its scary—but it’s so cool the way technology works
