  A fun premise and cadre of characters.

  But unfortunately falls flat on its face in the third act. Perhaps the obvious similarities to Starship Troopers just reinforced for me how much of a superior movie that is to this one.

  An uninspiring pastiche; some kind of menagerie of Anderson aesthetics, Lynch-ian tone, Kubrick-esque ambition, all pushed through a filter of Guadagnino’s usual thematics. Needless to say it doesn’t pull it off.
