Very strong performances that don’t over exaggerate, and the way it was shot felt more unique than a lot of films I’ve watched lately.
As Mother Simpson once said — you awful, awful man.

Is he cute, or is he just the only other person at this gorge?
Sometimes the biggest villain a premise can have is the plot that follows. Building a mystery so intriguing, that whatever the reveal is, falls short. The gorge in The Gorge is indeed underwhelming, but I also don’t know what could’ve been down there that would’ve genuinely enthralled me.
I like a mixture of genres when done well, but here they were too jarring. Some inventive action scenes interspersed with some generic video game ones. Solid chemistry between the leads too.
A perfectly fine, fun weeknight watch at home.
Not sure what the point of this was? A messy adventure across random scenes that leave no lasting impact. After the 7th joke about Stormbreaker being jealous of Mjolnir, I wasn’t sure what story was trying to be told, and will forget about most of it tomorrow. Disappointing after feeling like it was a set up to truly answer the question of what makes Thor, Thor.
At least Chris Hemsworth was fun, and Natalie Portman was great.
