  Cinderella 1950

  Cinderella is a way better film that Snow White. It’s funny, it’s dramatic, and it’s a lot more engaging that SW. I thought this movie was going to be a slog to get through but the pace was fairly decent after a slow start. Not so many music moments but the ones that are there both don’t overstay their welcome and are also catchy. The animation quality has also improved but after 18 years after SW, I’d hope it did. 

  Worth a watch. It held up well.

  Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs 1937

  Decided to watch all of the Disney Princess films after watching the trainwreck that was the 2025 version of Snow White. 

  Starting from the very beginning, Snow White is simultaneously a cornerstone of cinematic animation yet dreadfully boring. It’s incredibly dated in its pace but I can’t hate that much as it’s nearly 100 years old. We spend way too much time with the Dwarfs and almost no time with anyone else.   Horrific. There wasn’t a single frame of this movie I found the least bit entertaining or, at the very least, didn’t give me instant agita upon viewing. 

  I wish I could have back the hour, minutes, and seconds after viewing this trash heap of a movie.

  This movie is so fucking weird and has so many turns and twists in it. I love this movie but the run time is a bit long and there are scenes where it drags a bit but you’ll be hooked to see where it goes.
