Although Argylle offer's plenty of Matthew Vaughn's personal touch and what makes his movies so fun, I feel it misses the mark with what makes his movie's brilliant as well. Outlandish action flicks that have something extra; something special. Unfortunately, I felt much of that something special missing from Argylle. Many of the action sequences were uninspiring and by the climax of the film I was wholly uninterested by any scene of that nature.

A fine film with stunning battle sequences and the visuals to match truly worthy of a Scott Free production. It gave good insight to the life of Napoleon, but wasn't entirely faithful to the historical.
