I’ve been waiting for this day for a long time. Over 4 years ago I named my first cat Count Orlok, and I am rather pleased to say that Robert Eggers did besmirch his name. Similarly to Ellen Hutter I was completely consumed by the Count. I am amazed by the way this movie evoked so many of the feelings of the 1922 masterpiece while completely expanding on the storyline and flushing out details that previously only lived in the imaginations…
