A beautiful tribute to songwriters, especially those in Nashville. This documentary could have just shown us the ways in which songwriters develop songs, which it does, or the Nashville connection, which it also does. Instead, it goes much further, showing us the raw emotion and soulfulness that’s at the heart of the songwriting “business.”

Nowhere near as good as the first one.

I really like this movie for the way it explores mental health, but like the movie, A Woman Under the influence, the character’s anger is tough to watch for too long, which is short way of saying, as I often do, the movie could have accomplished the same thing in less time.

Old favorite, maybe cuz of the concept and maybe cuz Farah Faucet's in it lol. Not sure it’ll hold up though.
