  King Kong vs. Godzilla 1962

  Not egregiously bad, just very boring. In a 90 minute movie it probably shouldn't take 40 minutes just to show King Kong for the first time. I liked some of the concepts, like a pharmaceutical company's marketing team trying to get better ratings by capturing a monster, but the characters led to a lacking execution. The scenes with King Kong were enjoyable but in a "so bad it's good" kind of way. I had a bit of fun, but I was bored more than I was entertained.

  Started off feeling like a jumbled mess. So many different plotlines that didn't really intersect; the only thing that kept it grounded was knowing that eventually the daughter gets possessed. But as the movie went on, all of the little plot strings slowly but masterfully got woven together into an amazing climax. An incredible experience.
