Well, the title fits the bill.
Witnessing the Kim's slowly worm their way into the Park family home is entertaining but far too conventional, or so it seems. Bong Joon-Ho masterfully plants the seeds for what will later become a tragedy, with laughs along the way. The tonal shift is so abrupt that I was left feeling like I'd experienced two films.
