Final Destination 2000
I know this movie is generally well-liked, but I don’t think it gets enough credit for how good it really is. There’s ominous dread and oppressive sadness permeating nearly every frame, and it’s genuinely harrowing and effective. You really feel the gravity and trauma of the nightmarish situation these characters find themselves in, and that’s no small feat with such an objectively silly central concept. A banger through and through!
