Best movie of the year??? Had certain elements that reminded me of uncut gems and good time but with no real stakes at the end. The second half of the movie once Ivan leaves the house is all very predictable and is missing that thriller element I was expecting. I can appreciate each of the cast’s individual performances and Mikey Madison’s Oscar is well deserved. Maybe I’m being too critical and my expectations were too high going into this one. #DuneSnubbed

Rewatched this movie last night and realized I had not given this movie a proper review. In very early preparation for Mickey-17 I decided to give this movie a rewatch. Bong Joon Ho is a creative genius, every time you think things can’t get worse it does. From the action sequences to the reveal of what awaits the tail section as each gate opens. This movie does not get enough credit shadowed…

“Pray for the best, prepare for the worst”
This movie is every parents nightmare.
To what extent would you go to uncover the truth and find a loved one? This film tackles the idea of ordinary people’s ability to become a monster when faced with extremities that push them to their limit. Each person in this film is a prisoner of something in their own way. Saw this movie a month ago never got a chance to review it, without giving away spoilers I thought the actual main antagonist was a little predictable.
