Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone 2001
Obviously not a cinematic masterpiece by any means, but still a fun movie in a cool universe. Some awfully bad cgi in some parts, but there's also a lot of cool effects and just cool magic stuff. A pretty good represention of the books. Also, JUST GET OFF THE FUCKING CHESS PIECE RONALD

Maybe I'm jaded, but I feel like Nicholas kinda deserved for it all to be real. I enjoyed most of it, but the ending was a little too much, who would genuinely come out of that experience happy. If my brother put me through all of this psychological torture just because I was starting to become an asshole, I'd shoot him for real this time lol. Even though the plot is unimaginably unrealistic, it was still executed very well and pretty convincingly for most of the film, which makes it a pretty fun watch
