  I think this film had more potential than it lived up to. The first 60% of the movie I wasn’t invested at all in any of the characters excluding Paul Rudd. There are so many top notch actors in this movie, and they all fit right into this family world you’re thrown into. But to me that’s the problem.

  You are thrown into this disjointed family full of drama and issues layered deep and thick. But there was no building…

  Ricky Gervais: SuperNature 2022

  I laughed at several points, and I tried to not get too wrapped up in the transphobic jokes. I know that’s it’s just jokes. That doesn’t really make it very funny though does it? Idk I’ve definitely got mixed feelings about it. 

  Some parts are exactly what I wanted and expected from Ricky, and some bits were lazy and pretty transphobic even if it’s a joke. I’ll leave the harsher judgments up to the people groups that the offensive jokes are actually geared towards.
