  I know I’ve highlighted it before but Cuaron is the story here. The upgrade in filmmaking craft from Columbus in 2 to Cuaron in 3 is like going from, as Walter White would say, “grade school tee ball to the New York Yankees.”

  Cuaron has that quality that Spielberg has of moving the camera in dazzling ways that are nearly invisible to the average moviegoer. HP3 isn’t the film you’d grab and say “look at that oner!” but he literally has a dozen here that are stupidly good that pass by unnoticed.

  You could almost say that what Cuaron does in Askban is…Magical.
