  A Real Pain 2024

  An intimate portrayal of generational pain and the importance of family relationships. 

  Jesse and Kieran are phenomenal and bounce off each other as two cousins who are really brothers

  The scene in the concentration camp is breathtaking and shocking, illustrating the horrors the holocaust and the pain that even generations today still feel.

  The cinematography and score are very good showing the very best Poland with its beautiful streets  and Chopin.

  ‘Our faith is a living thing precisely because it walks hand-in-hand with doubt.’

  This movie illustrates the chaotic process of a conclave from its endless votes to a struggle for power. This movie deals with serious issues such as loss of faith, reformation, division and belonging. 

  Fiennes has an amazing performance as Cardinal Lawrence especially when presenting his memorial address. The character of Benetiz also shines through as a beacon of hope through the division and culture wars presented in this movie.

  The score is fantastic and really sets a frantic atmosphere along with impressive visuals.

  Very good movie.

  Captain America: Brave New World 2025

  This movie could be split into two , one movie were sam finds his footing as Captain America and one Red Hulk movie. Together the plot is decent but it misses its full potential.

  Harrison Ford saves the movie with a good performance as Ross and Mackie puts in a decent performance.

  There are classical captain america fight scenes but the last fight scene contains lazy CGI which slightly ruins it .
