  At the time of writing, i’ve barely hit the ten minute mark and i already know DEEP in my heart that this is oscar-winning material at it’s finest. I am so, so glad to be learning about the Harlem Cultural festival. This is quite honestly the first time i found myself so enthralled with a documentary’s prospect.

  At it’s core, this isn’t meant to be a flashy piece on shark hunting as much as it is a story about love, and connection. and that’s just fine. i don’t get the hate for this movie, sure seeing the same visuals might get aggravating, but it’s a masterpiece in character writing. not at one moment did i think a character was surplus to requirements and annoying. i love this movie and i’ll stand on that hill.
