had a nice time watching it but this movie didnt quite subverge existing tropes revolving around the concept of vampires(which ik isn't necessary but definitely obliterated everything). very spontaneous changes in the plot made it feel jerky. not so rich subtext. hits none.
well it was some creative exception there, talking about the genre switch in the middle of the movie from a crime to slasher horror(vampire), just like in the movie 'From dusk till dawn', but romantisizing it already in the trailer had its effect nullified.
the first half of the movie is what id still consider logic and the latter just breaking the verisimilitude.Translated from by -
