  "at least you were paid!" glad they let one moment of self-awareness slip through, all in all the messaging is completely fucked. if you completely ignore that, it was very charming!

  4 1/2 stars because they didn’t kiss

  super fun and genuinely refreshing tonally!!

  something about exploiting the fact that these high school tropes are so well-worn at this point that embracing the fact that they're nothing but symbols in their own right, and then dialing them all the way up to 1000 to the point where you're living in an alternate universe is amazing.
