  I've lost track of how many times I've seen this movie, but it doesn't matter, since I'll watch it a hundred more times before I die.

  Christian Bale is perfect as Patrick Bateman -- his insecurities and questionable sanity, his fashion sense and love of music. He's not likable, I mean, how can you LIKE Patrick Bateman, even if his girlfriend thinks he's the boy next door?

  I liked the movie better than the book.

  QT and I share a birthday, and that's all we share.
  I hated this the first time I saw it. Years later, my kids were into watching all QT's movies, so I watched it again with them, and it didn't make me want to claw off my face. I have enjoyed other QT movies, and I do appreciate Pulp Fiction for what it did for pop culture.

  But this gets the IT INSISTS UPON ITSELF rating from me.
