Yes, it’s silly racist, Tim Allen is playing himself, and it’s fluffy Disney Channel nonsense. But you know what, I don’t care. I like it. It’s a completely unwarranted remake of Little Indian Big City, but wholly ridiculous.

It has then teen heartthrob Sam Huntington gallivanting around in a loin cloth. It has Tim Allen and Martin Short playing off each other as both the straight man -and- the wisecracker. It has an animatronic spider as well as a song-and-dance…

Maybe needed a little more focus on the wrestling itself, it still is an amazing documentary featuring one of the biggest genius minds of professional wrestling.

What I can tell you is that this documentary is a very stream-of-consciousness. It’s highly promotional of what these kiddos were trying to say. Things were as fraught in America then as they are now. Probably more so? And thus you have this exploration of sex, drugs, and rock n roll.

But since this is more of a “you were there” kind of groove, you are more or less expected to tune on, tune in, drop out. And  so it’s not worth much more than background viewing material.
