For a prequel movie years after the success of Fury Road is definitely weird timing but extremely welcomed. I love the Mad Max universe and especially the game that came out. I really like Chris as the villain after so many years of being a hero, this prosthetic job was good to disguise himself. Anya is always a joy to watch, pretty sure she is my favorite actress of the decade. Can’t believe she hasn’t been nominated for a big award.

I watched this going into it with knowing about the premise through award season speech’s but man was I taken a back by the camp parts. It was a tough watch. In a sense of the seriousness of some scenes to the cringe you could feel by being apart of the group when Benji would act out, all props to Kieran for that because he did a hell of a job. It didn’t feel like a movie just a couple of guys with a camera which I enjoyed. It was chill and not overly done, which I can appreciate.

    Good film.

Man, after almost four years of my wife hyping this movie up and we had a chance to watch it in theaters. The hype was worth it, celebrating Britney’s memoir was the reason why this was in the theater, this plot is wild. Super glad I was able to finally watch it.

It’s been a minute since I watched a really good Sci-Fi movie and this was definitely a treat to let it simmer awhile. Loved the world building, story and characters. Was pretty gnarly the collage of all the aliens and such just wish there was a bit more to make it really feel fleshed out.

    Great film.
