  This was great! Definitely the most scathing insight i've ever seen Linklater give, and man does he do a great job. the juxtaposition of everyday smalltown american life with grave injustice happening constantly just down the street is just haunting, and linklater's unique directorial insights about community shine through so incredibly well. Hope this gets more press because it's fantastic. Can't wait to check out the other eps!

  okokokok i know that i have watched this movie three times in three months and i know that is not a valuable allocation of my time but theres something about this movie man!! pretty much everyone in it is a little annoying or a little gross or both, some of the acting is straight-up bad, some of the themes read as trite and hamfisted, but then i see jake having fun at a theater party and all his buds cheering him on and my heart melts a little bit!! Willoughby!! Gilligan's island!! makes me miss my pals!!
