Lead actress is annoying. I really love the concepts of Ken Russel films. Couldn't get past the opening years ago. Gave it another go this time. Much more intriguing this go around. Truly disturbing at times. Lots of Lynch vibes here. Ultimately didn't take away a whole lot from it...hard to get past the cheese and bad sfx. The ending was trying to be cool and it just was pretty lackluster.

Whole thing drags. The contrast of country boy and city boy is somewhat humorous. There's a bit of small town charm at times. Incredibly boring. The worms just go away at the end. Characters are flat as can be.
