  sometimes i think about this movie and my heart aches. this feeling changed me and i crave to experience this much emotion often. there are very few films that have made me feel so intensely. your heart and body can only give so much. life is for loving and falling and suffering

  bro thought his desire wouldn’t lead to undeniable suffering 🤣
  knowing some tibetan buddhist belief systems makes this film much more enjoyable. pema’s story is so disheartening because how could she ever ask him to come back and deny his path to freedom from samsara. she has no choice but to suffer him leaving her and their son. like yashodhara did. 

  nah but his ass should’ve just stayed in that monastery.
