That’s about the saddest/disappointing way to end a film, and not in a conventional way.
The leads with the father and son were excellent and sold the emotion of the story. Every location was lived in and realistic, thanks to the on-location shots.
While I understand now that Italy likes to dub over almost all their films around this time, the dubbed over dialogue is distracting. If it’s for another language I get it, but I don’t understand that choice here with their home tongue.
