  Didn’t think it was the worst thing ever but it definitely wasn’t good. So many cool concepts and character designs that are wasted on a cast who are both dumb and have no chemistry with each other.   Definitely a better watch than Videodrome. Jeff Goldblum does his Jeff Goldblum things and is always great at it. Practical effects felt very similar to The Thing and that is a good thing.

  I came out of the theater initially wanting to give this film a higher score but as it sat with me for a little while longer, I found the film to be underwhelming which is ironic to say considering how overwhelmingly loud the theater was.
