  A study in perfect screenwriting, this movie absolutely kicks ass. Unhinged Dennis Hopper is easily one of the top five villains, along with the second Terminator, Jennifer Jason Leigh aka “Hedy” in SWF, the fucking Stepfather, and Hannibal Lecter. Keanu looks great in crewcut, Sandra Bullock is fabulous here. Did I mention perfect screenwriting? SPEED 🚌

  Fucking Bornholm 2022

  After having recently seen a couple of relatively good contemporary Polish movies (Other People, Back to Those Days), I had set my hopes quite high for this one. What a bummer. This movie is cringy af, most of the dialogues are wooden and don't feel natural, not to even mention the attempts at jokes which are just sad. One star for putting the word "fucking" in the title.
