One of the most uncomfortable films I have ever come across. Literally took my eyes off the screen a dozen times. There is no word to express those visuals 🥵

Why did the writer have to mess up such an outstanding setup in the climax! Took away all my admiration in 20 minutes. It was all near perfect before everything exploded uncontrollably :(

A horrific account of sexual harassment faced by three women in Egypt. Highlights the rot in the society and the lack of support from the judicial system. Your heart goes out to the women who have to battle patriarchy from all age groups irrespective of gender. The transformation in the relationships with their partners are fleshed out neatly. Nobody is spared.

Unsurprisingly it was called out for poor depiction of Egypt & asked to be banned.

My respect to the makers for going ahead with this film despite all the roadblocks.

Baazaar has a powerful theme at the core and raises very disturbing questions. But I was quite surprised with the melodrama, theatrics and mediocre execution at places. The usually wonderful actors were inconsistent. Not a polished product but worth a watch.
