The Magnum Opus of Maniratnam looks magnificent in every aspect as a film. I had some issues with not bringing out some sequences from the book, but apart from that, I was infatuated with the lead characters so much. There are more and more things in the film, like Ravi Varman's eye-pleasing cinematography and ThalaivARR's dope background scores to speak out. Simply put, Tamil cinema has peaked.
